  15. Recently I reacquired an old C64 and 1541. Since the drive 
  16. would not load certain programs, I ran a program called 
  17. "Performance Test" (2.0, I think) off of a disk that I assume 
  18. came with the drive. Unfortunately, it gave me a ton of error 
  19. messages, which I will state below. If anyone knows what these 
  20. mean and how they can be fixed, I would be really appreciative!

  23. Open Write File:  74 Drive not ready 0 0 (the 2nd time I ran 
  24. the program it said 21 Read Error 18 0).
  25. Open read file:  21 read error 18 0
  26. Scratch file:  21 R.E. 18 1
  27. Write Track 35:  21 R.E 35 0
  28. Write track 1:  21 R.E. 1 0 (2nd time it said 27 R.E. 1 0)
  29. Read track 35:  21 R.E. 3 5
  30. Read track 1: 20 R.E. 1 0(again, 2nd time was 27 R.E. 1 0)
